Lasting Memories Events Planning & Catering Grand Opening!

Lasting Memories Events Planning & Catering is a great new family owned business.
We have been longtime friends of the Executive Chef/Owner Phil and his wife, Event Coordinator/Owner Adrienne. There's also floral designer Sandi Hardman (Adrienne's mom), Laura McKinley, designer/event coordinator and Amber Puchalski, marketing/evnt coordinator. Phil was actually the best man in Milisa's wedding and Adrienne and her helpers set our entire wedding up and Sandi did our florals.
The team is amazing and dedicated to making their client's day one to remember.
Check them out!
We were so honored to be apart of their Grand Opening event.

Phil has such a blast working his magic in the kitchen. We got to taste everything after the pictures and it was all FABULOUS!!!

The Martin Family!

The Martin Family is very
near and dear to our hearts...best friends.
Michelle & Madison were in both of
our weddings and Malachi in Milisa's
and Jeremiah in Kristin's.
So it is always a great day when
we get to shoot their family photos.
We love this little girl!
They had too much fun.
One of the favs of the day! The epitome of "Laugh."
How sweet is that face?
They make such a gorgeous couple.
Another fav of the day...they are so in LOVE!

Thank you so much for a great day! Love you guys!

New & Improved ~ but still the same great us!

Hello!

Welcome to the blog of

Smith & Karrow Photography

We've recently changed our name
(Formerly Something Different Photography)
and so, with a new name comes a new blog...

and a new web site!
www.smithandkarrowphotography.com

And a new email!
smithandkarrowphotography@yahoo.com

We've also purchased new equipment!
We are now shooting with the Canon 5D Mark II.

We are Milisa Smith & Kristin Karrow.
We have been creating Artography
for over 10 years together.
What is Artography you ask?
Simply, it is the blending of art and photography.
We pride ourselves on seeing the
artistic side of every shot
and capturing it at its finest moment.
(Of course, we also have a traditional bone in our trigger happy fingers!)

We are based in Riverside, CA but we have traveled from
Washington to New York and are always
up for new experiences in new places.
Our love for artography developed in our
high school yearbook class we took together
and turned into more of an obsession
when we ventured off to college,
where we both earned degrees in photography.
Milisa's BA is in Photojournalism from
Cal State University, Fullerton.
Kristin's BA is in Studio Art Photography from
Cal State University, San Bernardino.
We both continued our education while working in
various photo studios and a print processing lab.
Bringing our two different photography styles
together has helped us develop our
artography and cater to a wide variety of tastes.

We love to shoot weddings, engagements, families,
kids, senior graduates, maternity portraits
and special occasions and anything you put us up to!
We prefer to use the natural light and the natural surroundings,
but we do have a studio set for a classic touch.

Please, let us show you what Artography is all about!

Thanks for stopping by,
Milisa & Kristin
